The Month of the Woman Entrepreneur (MOWE) Celebrations

In collaboration with International Labor Organization and other stakeholders in Women Entrepreneurship Development, Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association Ltd (UWEAL) has organized a series of events in the month of November to build capacity and recognize the outstanding performance of women in business over the years.

November has been dubbed the Month of the Woman Entrepreneur. Under the theme “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs through Networks”, MOWE will be marked by a series of activities including, exhibitions, workshops, training sessions and advocacy forums all aimed at the economic empowerment of women in  Uganda.

This will climax with the MOWE dinner where women entrepreneurs who have distinguished themselves through outstanding business performance and achievement at all levels will be recognized and awarded. This networking event is organized by UWEAL and ICON on 26th November 2011 at Imperial Royale Hotel.
